Yes, MUA offers four entry points: the Pre-Medical Master's, the 5-year BSc/MD, the 6-year BSc/MD, and Gateway programs.
You cannot directly enter the 4-year MD program without completing the necessary pre-medical educational requirements. However, through MUA’s 5-Year and 6-Year BSc/MD Programs, you can complete your pre-medical education while already enrolled in medical school.
It depends on your pathway:5-Year BSc/MD Program: You spend one year (3 semesters) in pre-med studies.6-Year BSc/MD Program: You complete two years (6 semesters) of pre-med studies, ideal for students entering directly out of secondary school.Pre-Med Master's Program: Designed for career changers who already have a Bachelor's degree but lack science prerequisites. This accelerated program takes 2 semesters (8 months).
Yes. Programs like the 6-year BSc/MD save significant time and money compared to the traditional pathway of completing four years of undergraduate studies plus four years of medical school. It allows you to start your career sooner, bringing long-term earning and advancement benefits.
Absolutely. Pre-med students work very hard to develop the knowledge, skills, and study habits necessary to succeed in the rigorous 4-year MD program.
Yes. If you have earned a Bachelor's degree and completed at least one term of General Chemistry, you are encouraged to apply directly to the Pre-Med Master's program. Earning an MSc in Biomedical Science through this program grants automatic admission to the MD program upon successful completion.
